The Digital Classicist is a web-based entry point for researchers and students who are interested in the application of computer technology to the study of classical antiquity. The main purpose of this website is to offer guidelines and suggestions on technical issues. We are also about events, publications (printed and electronic) and others have reported developments in this field. Selection criteria are indicated by interest and expertise of the staff, general, and the editors, in particular, determined.

The Digital Classicist is a decentralized and international community of scholars and students interested in the innovative application of digital methods and technologies to research on the ancient world. The Digital Classicist is not core funded, and nor is it owned by any institution. The main purpose of this site is to offer a web-based hub for discussion, collaboration and communication.
